Hrant Dink assassinated in Istanbul

It is currently on English Wikipedia’s main page. I was astonished when I saw it in the morning. Tragic. I will admit that I did not agree with Dink very much; I thought he was much too lenient, not only with the Armenian genocide deniers but also the Turkish extremists and jingoists (such as Kemal Kerinçsiz) who had threatened him on numerous occasions.

Anyway, for those who would like to learn more about Hrant Dink and the assassination, here is an article from the pro-Turkish BBC and another from ArmeniaNow. In his article in The Independent, British journalist Robert Fisk called Hrant Dink the "1,500,001st victim of the Armenian genocide."
